I suppose I haven't been a very good blogger. I posted once, and now, over three months later, I am JUST now writing my second post. I am going to try to not let that happen again.
Well, 2011 has already proved to be a busy year for the Thomas family, and it's only going to get crazier! I must say I am excited about everything though. Let me start with all the weddings-there are SO many this year. First, is Giovanni & Meghan's on May 28, then Jeffrey's brother Jason's wedding to Jacqueline on June 4, then my good friend Danielle's wedding on June 11(I'm in this one which should be fun!). Jeffrey's other brother (Yes, all three brother's are getting married in one year! Not to mention, they are all spread out up the east coast: Virginia, Florida, & Boston, Joe is getting married October 15. My best friend, Laura, also got engaged a couple of weeks ago and she has said they are thinking of December for their wedding (Not for sure yet).
As if planning to attend and pay to go to ALL those weddings, plus plan my own wedding, wasn't enough, we are planning to move to Florida this summer. I have moments of panic and stress, but I'm usually able to get things back in perspective and calm down.
This year is also the year of BABIES! (Not for me, of course!) I found out that my sister, and her husband will be expecting their first little angel sometime in mid-October. Her estimated due date it October 10, 2011. The Thomas family will increase by TWO this year. Shayna is also expecting little Ellie (Short for Elizabeth) at the end of April/beginning of May. I'm so excited for both of them. Brittany and Shayna were babies when they met at 2 years old and now they are both having babies! Hard to believe.
Finally, there are two graduations in May(Not mine, unfortunately...stupid LU)! My cousin Chris will graduate from LU and enter the Army as an officer. He will definitely be doing what he loves and is anxiously waiting to find out where he will be stationed. Brittany will also graduate in May from USF, just in time to relax and have a few months to prepare for motherhood. It will definitely be a huge year for her!
These are all the things we have to look forward to this year. I'm already exhausted from just thinking about everything, but I can't wait to be a wife and an aunt!
